SE QLD Jobs Expo

Are you a current, former or Army Reserve member interested in steady employment, flexible serving options and acknowledgment of your valuable civilian skill sets?

Join us at the October South East Queensland Jobs Expo to explore your options with Army.The Expo features speakers from all walks of Army—from Reservists who re-engaged with new skills to Veterans who returned to serve on their terms.

Queensland Brigades 6, 7, 11 and 16 are participating in the Expo through trade stands, presentations and networking opportunities with Reserve and regular members.

By attending, you will directly engage with Brigades and Units to explore opportunities available to you and discover how your skills and experiences can contribute to your new flexible career.

Expo speakers include Deputy Chief of Army Anthony Rawlins, DSC, AM, Commander 7th Combat Brigade Jason Blaine, DSC, CSC, plus speakers from Career Management Army and the Future Ready Workforce initiative.  There will also be a panel discussion with members who re-engaged with Army and have gained steady, stable, secure incomes and access to flexible serving options.

Army are continuing to build a strong culture of community and service by empowering members to seek out working arrangements that will keep them serving, the way they want. A Future Ready Workforce will be agile—enabling members to stay in their location while continuing to contribute to Army will be key to our success.

Interviews on the day.

Suppose you find a job on the OneArmy.Potential platform or on the day of the Expo you find a role you are interested in, there are live interviews with points of contact for hiring Units. If you find a role you are interested in you can have an interview on the spot. If you can't make it physically to the Expo, virtual interviews can be arranged.
